Healthcare Recruitment Hub is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) with Emergency Department experience for a contract opportunity at Coffs Harbour Health Campus, NSW.
This is an excellent opportunity for nurses looking for a regional contract role while gaining valuable experience in a busy Emergency Department environment.
Position Details
- Position: Registered Nurse – Emergency Department
- Location: Coffs Harbour, NSW
- Contract: 6–12 weeks
- Start Date: 14 September 2026
- Pay Rate: $52–$68 per hour
- Employment Type: Contract
- Roster: Day, evening and night shifts, including weekends as required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide secure, high-quality nursing care to patients presenting to the Emergency Department.
- Conduct patient assessments and monitor clinical conditions.
- Assist with emergency procedures and interventions.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with clinical guidelines.
- Work collaboratively with doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records.
- Respond appropriately to changes in patient condition.
- Follow infection prevention,
medication safety and workplace health and safety procedures.
Essential Requirements
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Recent Emergency Department (ED) experience.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant clinical experience preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and emergency nursing skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work across a rotating roster.
- Current National Police Check.
- Evidence of required vaccinations/immunisations.
- Right to work in Australia.
