Wanneroo Patios is a rapidly growing and successful business specialising in the design and installation of custom-built patios, pergolas, carports, and more across the greater Perth region. In addition to our core services, we also supply and install aluminium gates, screening, and fencing, including D.I.Y. kits for home improvement projects.

Due to continued growth and success in the industry, we’re looking for a Designer / Sales Consultant to join our Design team. This is your chance to be part of a dynamic company that values innovation, attention to detail, and career development.

About the Role

You'll play a key role in bringing outdoor design concepts to life by producing accurate, high-quality working drawings that comply with council and building standards. You'll also work directly with customers — understanding their needs, presenting design solutions, and helping turn enquiries into completed projects. Your work will support smooth project delivery and ensure every structure is built safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Please note: This role requires a working knowledge of R-Codes and BCA regulations

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

- Develop designs for various patios, carports, and more





- Meet with customers to discuss their requirements and present tailored design and quotation options

- Prepare quotes and follow up on enquiries to help convert leads into confirmed projects

- Produce working drawings and plans for our team of Installers

- Process purchase orders to our suppliers for materials

- Assist the Council with any designs / structural engineering enquiries as required

The successful candidate will require the following:

- Minimum 2 years of design experience

- Highly developed computer skills, including proficiency in the use of Microsoft office and CAD Software including Sketch Up and Layout

- Working knowledge of R-Codes and BCA regulations

- A confident, customer-focused approach with the ability to build rapport and generate sales

- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills

- Ability to handle a variable workload and meet deadlines under pressure

- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset

- A valid C-Class driver’s licence
