About the role:

Looking to get started in the building and construction industry? Or are you a tradie wanting a change and a career with growth potential? Join our team as a Trade Assistant and gain Restorations experience while making a difference in the Townsville weather recovery efforts. This is a full time role.

Duties include:

- Perform emergency “make secure” works to mitigate further damage on initial attendance at site
- Responding to water and mould damage emergencies to both commercial and residential properties
- Water extraction and mould remediation / structural drying
- Usage of specialised restoration equipment
- WHS standards related to industry
- Heavy lifting
- Willing to work as part of a team and independently

What we’re looking for:

- Construction experience or a trade background is preferred but not essential
- C-Class Drivers Licence and white card




- Willingness to travel, respond to after-hours call-outs and weekend work where required
- Ability to work as part of a team, as well as, autonomously with little supervision
- Proven time-management skills with the ability to remain calm and work well under pressure
- Ability to travel within North QLD and Far North QLD
