Roster: FULL-TIME, 8D/6R – FIFO ex Perth Fortescue is seeking a full-time RC Rig Geologist to join the Resource Definition team at Solomon. This is a fantastic prospect for someone looking to build on their existing skill sets and expand their operational knowledge in a dynamic, hands-on environment. As part of the team, you will play a key role in analysing geological data and supporting resource definition efforts, contributing directly to exploration and development projects.

Daily supervision of RC drill rig

High quality stratigraphy, downhole gamma, and texture logging of RC chips

Assay and geological data management, internal QAQC, data collection/validation

Ensuring high sample quality on the rigs

Rationalisation and progression of near mine exploration targets

Qualifications and Experience Tertiary degree in Geoscience

Full C class, manual drivers licence

Operate and maintain a 4WD

Exposure to Arc GIS, Leapfrog, Vulcan

Provide First Aid
