This is a full-time position based in Cairns, offering the opportunity to work on a variety of residential and commercial flooring projects. As a Resilient Floor Installer, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality flooring installations that meet our clients' expectations and industry standards.

Key responsibilities
Prepare and assess flooring surfaces, including subfloor inspection, cleaning, and necessary repairs to ensure optimal installation conditions
Install resilient flooring materials including vinyl, linoleum, rubber, and other synthetic flooring products to specification and industry standards
Measure, cut, and fit flooring materials with precision to ensure seamless and professional installations
Apply adhesives, underlayment,
and other materials according to manufacturer guidelines and best practice techniques
Operate and maintain flooring installation equipment and tools safely and effectively
Follow health and safety protocols at all times, including proper handling of materials and use of personal protective equipment
Communicate with clients and project managers regarding project progress, timelines, and any issues that may arise
Maintain a clean and organised work setting, removing waste and debris as required
Contribute to the ongoing quality and professionalism of John Chisholm Flooring's service delivery
