The Melbourne office is continuing to invest in and grow its Restructuring & Insolvency practice following recent strategic hires and a significant increase in workflow. The team is involved in a broad mix of restructuring, insolvency and commercial disputes work , acting on complex and high-profile matters for insolvency practitioners, financiers, corporates, directors and other stakeholders.

This growth has created opportunities for a Senior Associate to join a highly regarded team with an excellent reputation in the market.

Your new role

Working closely with experienced partners and senior lawyers, you will be involved in a diverse range of restructuring, insolvency and commercial litigation matters:

- Corporate restructurings and turnaround matters
- Formal insolvency appointments
- Insolvency-related disputes and investigations
- Recovery and enforcement proceedings
- Director and shareholder disputes
- Complex commercial litigation
- Funded litigation and class action-related matters

The team is known for its collaborative and supportive culture, with lawyers working closely together on matters and sharing knowledge. Unlike some larger teams,



you'll have direct access to partners and the opportunity to take ownership of meaningful work from an early stage in your career. What you'll need to succeed

- Approximately 5+ years' PQE (Senior Associate) gained within commercial litigation, restructuring or insolvency
- Experience advising on complex disputes and litigation matters
- A strong interest in building a long-term career in restructuring, insolvency and commercial disputes
- Excellent drafting, communication and analytical skills
- Strong commercial acumen and problem-solving abilities
- The ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively within a team environment
- A proactive and collaborative approach to practice development and client service
