Your Role The Fish Factory is looking for a full-time retail worker for our fresh seafood market. The successful candidate will have a passion for customer service and retail operations, with experience in the hospitality or retail industry. Operating in our busy seafood market, you will be equipped with strong communication skills, a positive attitude and willingness to learn!

The successful candidate will have availability to work over weekends and until shop close at 8pm. Daily duties as a shop assistant include:

· Fulfilment of customer walk-in orders and processing of payments.

· Product enquiries and general customer service.

· Set up and/or shut down of market.

· Assistance with daily stocktake and rotation of stick for FIFO purposes.

· Occasional assistance in bistro FOH & BOH where necessary.

· General shop duties where required.

Experience & Qualifications In conjunction with strong characteristic attributes, the successful candidate will have:

- Retail industry experience
- A genuine passion for customer service; being approachable and confident with customers
- Knowledge,



qualification and/or application of training in food safety & hygiene standards
- Ability to work in a busy environment, and under pressure
- Ability to work in a team environment with a positive attitude,
- Champion of a safe working environment
- Excellent personal hygiene and presentation,
- Strong work ethic
