Role Description This part-time Retail Salesperson role is an in office position based in Melbourne, VIC.

The Retail

Salesperson will support customers in selecting beds and bedroom furniture, providing product guidance tailored to their needs and preferences. Daily responsibilities include greeting customers, discussing sleep solutions, demonstrating product features, preparing quotes, and processing sales transactions. The role also involves maintaining store presentation, restocking displays, and assisting with basic merchandising to ensure a clean and inviting showroom.

Salesperson will work as part of a team to meet sales targets and uphold Snooze’s standards of service and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong Retail Sales and Sales skills, with the ability to work toward individual and store targets.

Candidates should possess solid Customer Service and Communication skills to engage with diverse customers and build rapport.

Candidates should possess practical Product Knowledge in beds and bedroom furniture, or be willing to quickly learn and apply technical information.

Candidates should possess basic numeracy and computer skills to handle point-of-sale systems and prepare accurate documentation.

Previous experience in retail, furniture, or homewares sales is beneficial but not essential.

Ability to stand for extended periods, assist with light stock movement, and work rostered hours including weekends and public holidays.

Demonstrated reliability, teamwork, and a positive, customer-focused attitude.
