We’re looking for an Installation Manager o take ownership of the successful delivery of our residential solar and battery installations, hot water, EV chargers along with small commercial projects.

This role is open to both experienced Installation Managers and electricians ready to take the next step into a leadership and management position.

About the Role

As our Installation Manager, you’ll oversee solar and battery projects from handover through to successful completion.

You’ll work closely with our installation crews, electricians, apprentices, scheduling, sales and administration teams to make sure every job is properly planned, safely delivered and completed to a high standard.

This isn’t just a desk-based management position. We’re looking for someone who understands what happens in the field, can support our installation teams with technical and practical issues, and is comfortable getting involved when required.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage residential solar and battery installations from handover through to completion.
- Oversee selected small commercial solar and battery projects.
- Coordinate and support electricians, apprentices, installers and subcontractors.
- Ensure installation teams have the correct information, equipment and materials to complete each project.
- Review projects before installation to identify potential technical or site issues.




- Provide technical support and problem-solving assistance to installation teams.
- Conduct site inspections and quality assurance checks.
- Ensure installations meet SAA requirements, Australian Standards and relevant WHS requirements.
- Work with scheduling and operations to maximise installation efficiency.
- Liaise with customers and resolve installation-related issues professionally.
- Monitor project progress and ensure jobs are completed on time and to our quality standards.
- Support, mentor and develop members of the installation team.
- Identify opportunities to improve installation processes, quality and productivity.

About You

We’re open to different levels of management experience.

You may already be managing solar and battery installation teams, or you might be an experienced solar electrician who is ready to spend less time on the tools and take the next step into leadership.

Ideally, you’ll have:

- SAA Accreditation – highly desirable.
- Electrical trade qualification and current electrical licence.
- Strong experience with residential solar and battery installations

- Experience with battery energy storage systems.




- A good understanding of relevant Australian Standards and installation requirements.
- Strong technical and practical problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and leadership skills.
- The ability to organise people, projects and priorities.
- A professional approach to customers and your team.
- Current Australian Driver Licence.

Experience with commercial solar, project management or job management software such as AroFlo would also be advantageous.

You Don't Need to Be an Experienced Manager

For the right person, this could be your first formal management role.
