Brisbane Skylights is looking for a reliable and motivated installer to join our growing team. We install high-quality skylights, daylighting and roof ventilation products across Brisbane, including Solatube systems, roof ventilation products and skylight-related works. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, can work safely on roofs, and wants to be part of a professional team that values quality workmanship and exceptional customer service.

About the role

This role involves attending residential and light commercial job sites across Brisbane to install skylights, daylighting systems, roof ventilation products and associated roof flashings. You will be working as part of an installation team and will be expected to complete jobs efficiently, safely and to a high standard.

Your duties will include:

- Installing skylights, daylighting systems and roof ventilation products
- Working on tiled and metal roofs
- Following job notes, workflow sheets and installation procedures
- Taking photos and recording job details before, during and after installation
- Communicating clearly with the office and customers when required
- Maintaining a clean, safe and professional job site
- Working with other installers as part of a team

The right person will have:





- Roofing, carpentry, skylight, solar, ventilation or general construction experience
- Confidence working at heights and on roofs
- A strong focus on safety and quality
- Valuable problem-solving skills
- A current driver’s license
- A reliable and professional attitude
- Good communication skills
- The ability to work well in a team as well as on your own
- A willingness to follow systems and procedures

The following would be highly regarded:

- Experience with metal or tiled roofing
- Experience installing skylights, roof windows or ventilation products
- Working at Heights ticket
- White Card
- Basic carpentry or flashing experience
- Experience using job management apps or taking job photos/notes
