Job Description

Position: Farm Hand Location: Darlington Point, NSW Start: September 2026

Contract: Casual We require 10 Farm Hands for work on a cotton and wheat farm. Tasks include sowing, treating, fertilising, pruning and irrigation maintenance and other general labouring tasks.

The work you will be doing is hard and physically demanding. You must be physically capable of working on your feet for long periods at a time and be able to cope with repetitive manual labouring work. You can expect to work 30 hours each week across a 7 day roster.

You must be willing to work weekends to be considered for this role.



There are 5x positions available at Level 1 and you will be paid an hourly rate of $32.18 in line with Level 1 under the Pastoral Award. There are 5x positions available at Level 2 and you will be paid an hourly rate of $33.05 in line with Level 2 under the Pastoral Award.

Onsite training will be provided to successful applicants and there is a potential to up skill based on performance. You will be employed at either Level 1 or Level 2 under the Pastoral Award [MA000035]. You may be promoted to level 2 or Level 3 subject to your ability, performance or an increase in? your skillset /qualifications.
