About the role

Hi-Tech Roofing Pty Ltd is seeking a Roof Plumbing Labourer/Apprentice to join our growing team. This is a full-time position based in Salisbury South, SA. This role represents an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to enter the building trades industry or advance their skills in roof plumbing.

You will work alongside experienced professionals, gaining hands-on experience in roof plumbing installation, maintenance, and repair. This position is pivotal to our operations, ensuring we deliver high-quality roofing and plumbing solutions to our valued clients across South Australia.

Key responsibilities

- Assist experienced roof plumbers with the installation and repair of roof plumbing systems, including gutters, downpipes, and flashing

- Prepare work sites, including removing old materials, cleaning surfaces, and setting up necessary equipment and tools

- Measure, cut, and fit roof plumbing materials to specifications under supervision

- Assist in the installation of roof ventilation systems and drainage solutions

- Carry out general labouring duties, including material handling and site tidying

- Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to all health and safety requirements and protocols

- Learn and develop practical skills in roof plumbing, working towards formal qualifications if pursuing an apprenticeship pathway

- Support the team with various maintenance and repair tasks on residential and commercial properties

What we're looking for

- A keen interest in the building trades and roof plumbing industry

- Physical fitness and ability to work at heights safely and comfortably

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic

- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
- A current or willingness to obtain a White Card (General Construction Induction)

- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards learning





- Current driver's licence or reliable transport to site locations

- Formal qualifications or apprenticeship in roof plumbing (desirable but not essential for entry-level positions)

- Willingness to work towards relevant certifications, such as a Certificate III in Roof Plumbing (for apprenticeship candidates)
