Position Overview: Food and Beverage is what adds flavour to a stay! Guests love to enjoy delicious, freshly-prepared and beautifully presented food. As a Food & Beverage Duty Manager you will provide supportive functional assistance to the Restaurant and Bar team in the Lovedale Brewbar; lead seamless guest experience and provide support to colleagues within the department.

Lead, train, and mentor staff to foster a culture of excellence in customer service, enhancing team performance and guest satisfaction.

Manage guest inquiries and resolve complaints promptly, ensuring a positive experience for all patrons.

Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering and stock management to maintain operational efficiency.

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as venue policies and procedures, to uphold a safe and secure environment for both guests and staff.

Collaborate with the Venue Manager in budgeting and financial management, providing insights into operational performance and cost control.

Assist in planning and executing events, coordinating logistics and staff assignments to ensure seamless operations.

Skills and Experience

Significant experience in hospitality management,



particularly in a supervisory or management role within a restaurant or bar environment.

Previous experience in a busy bar, pub, restaurant, brewery, cellar door, or hospitality environment, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable guest experiences. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.

Excellent problem-solving capabilities and a customer-focused mindset.

Proficiency in hospitality management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays, in a fast-paced environment.

A thorough understanding of health and safety regulations applicable to the hospitality industry.
