Reporting to the Electrical Supervisor, the role is responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing the electrical and instrumentation systems at Binduli and Paddington Operations’ fixed plant (Processing Mill) and its surrounding work sites, safely and efficiently. Work is to be compliant with all relevant Statutory requirements and health and safety regulations

DUTIES

- Undertaking preventative maintenance inspections, equipmentrepairsand associatedcomponentchange-outs.
- Diagnosefaultsand plant/equipmentbreakdowns.
- Regular inspections of tooling, equipment, work areas, and plant to identify hazards, operational compliance, damage and defects.
- Carry out time and material estimations for planned tasks, and enter associated parts orders.
- Report any hazards, accidents or injuries immediately to your direct Supervisor.




- Assist current employees and Contractors in the application of Company Policies and Procedures.
- Maintain required licenced trade knowledge to ensure continued compliant and safe electrical work practices.
- Anyotherdutiesasrequired.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

- Minimum of 2 years of mine site fixed plant electrical experience
- Minimum of 4 years post-apprenticeship electrical work experience
- Unrestricted WA Electrical Licence
- High Voltage Switching certification (desirable)
- High Risk Work Licence Certifications:
- Forklift (desirable)
- Elevated Work Platform (desirable)
- Non-slewing crane (desirable)
