Role Description This is a full-time/casual , on-site Scaffolders role based in Brisbane,SEQ, QLD. Scaffolders will assemble, erect, modify, and dismantle scaffolding systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects in line with company procedures and relevant safety standards. Daily tasks include loading and unloading materials, inspecting and maintaining scaffolding components, and ensuring all structures are secure, stable,
and fit for purpose.
The role involves working closely with site supervisors, trades, and project managers to meet project schedules, minimize disruption to operations, and respond to changing site requirements. Scaffolders are expected to follow all safety protocols, use appropriate personal protective equipment, and participate in toolbox talks and safety briefings. Qualifications
Strong practical skills in Scaffolding, including erecting, altering, and dismantling structures safely and efficiently.
Competence in Working at Height, with an understanding of safe access, egress, and use of harnesses and other protective equipment.
Experience or certification in Confined Space work, with awareness of relevant safety procedures and permits.
Knowledge and application of Fall Protection systems, including guardrails, fall arrest equipment, and safe work practices.
Valid tickets & construction white card, demonstrating understanding of site safety requirements.
Relevant trade qualification or nationally recognized scaffolding ticket (e.g., Basic, Intermediate, or Advanced Scaffolder) or willing to learn.
Sound understanding of Australian construction and safety standards, especially those related to temporary works and access systems.
Ability to read and follow scaffold plans, method statements, and risk assessments.
Good physical fitness and ability to handle manual work, including lifting, carrying, and working in varying weather conditions.
Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
