About the Role MSS Security is seeking a dedicated Control Room Reliever to join the team at the Security Operations Centre in Monash University, working in a technically advanced environment. Supporting multiple Monash sites and a security team of 130 officers, this role goes beyond standard monitoring.

Responsibilities - Monitor CCTV systems and alarms to ensure constant surveillance and early detection of any security risks.

- Respond promptly to security incidents, alarms, and emergencies, escalating issues as required.
- Collaborate with emergency services to coordinate responses to incidents.
- Regularly test and maintain security systems to ensure they are fully operational.
- Provide clear and concise communication.

Ideal

Candidates - Strong computer skills including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience in using Milestone CCTV, Inner Range/Infiniti Security System and resolver reporting system would be preferable.




- Proven experience working in a security control room and as a security officer.

Requirements - Full Australian working rights.

- Valid Victorian Security Licence with the control room subcategory.
- Working with children check (or willingness to obtain).
- Valid First Aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain).
- Victorian Drivers Licence.
- Availability to work a rotating 24/7 roster.
