About the Role

Securecorp has an opportunity for a Permanent Part-Time Level 2 Security Officer at a high-profile retail site on the northern Gold Coast.

This customer-focused role is ideal for an experienced retail security skilled who enjoys working in a dynamic environment. You'll be responsible for maintaining a safe and welcoming environment while delivering exceptional customer service and responding effectively to incidents and emergencies.

This position requires availability to work Saturdays and Sundays and offers the opportunity to expand your skills through control room duties, with genuine career progression opportunities within Securecorp.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain a professional security presence in a busy retail environment

- Deliver exceptional customer service to retailers, staff, and members of the public

- Conduct foot patrols, access control, and site monitoring

- Operate control room systems,



including CCTV and alarm monitoring (where required)

- Respond promptly to incidents, alarms, and emergencies

- Identify, assess, and manage security risks

- Complete accurate incident reports and maintain site documentation

- Liaise with centre management, tenants, contractors, and emergency services

Skills & Experience

- Current Security Licence with Unarmed and Crowd Control functions (essential)

- Previous retail security experience (essential)

- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate

- Control Room Licence (highly regarded)

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Professional presentation and customer-focused approach

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- 56 hours per fortnight - availability to work Saturdays and Sundays
