Salary: From $65,000 + Super (negotiable for the right candidate)
Are you mechanically minded and enjoy hands‑on work? We're looking for a reliable and motivated team member to join our growing business assembling, delivering and installing industrial forklift batteries.
This is a diverse role where no two days are the same. You'll work both in our warehouse assembling large forklift batteries and out on the road delivering and installing them at customer sites. Full training will be provided, so while experience in our industry isn't essential, a strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn are.
What you'll be doing
- Assemble and build industrial forklift batteries in a warehouse environment.
- Pick, prepare and load orders for delivery.
- Deliver and install forklift batteries at customer sites.
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently.
- Carry out general warehouse duties and maintain a clean, organised workspace.
- Provide professional and friendly customer service during deliveries and installations.
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A strong mechanical aptitude and enjoy working with your hands.
- A current Australian Driver's Licence (essential). Manual driving a must
- A current Forklift Licence (essential).
- Experience operating forklifts.
- Truck driving experience (highly regarded).
- A trade qualification or experience in mechanical assembly, automotive, electrical, manufacturing or a similar hands‑on industry (preferred).
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- A positive attitude, reliability and a strong work ethic.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
