We are seeking an Assistant Head of Department and TAS Teacher,commencing Term 1, 2027. In this role, you will support the Head of Department in the continuous improvement and delivery of the TAS curriculum across Years 7-12, including the Higher School Certificate (HSC).

At Ravenswood, we aim to excite students' interest in their studies, both in the classroom and through co-curricular experiences. The successful applicant will be an excellent and engaging classroom practitioner who brings creativity andrigourto curriculum delivery, and who enjoys working within a committed and professional team.

About You

To be successful in this role, you willdemonstrate:

Experience teaching Stage 6 Design and Technology, including the HSC course

Experience teaching Years 9-10 Design and Technology





Experience teaching Years 7-8 Technology Mandatory

Experience marking HSC Design and Technology Major Projects (NESA HSC marking experience highly regarded)

The ability to integrate digital technologies and ICT effectively into teaching and learning

Strongorganisational, communication and interpersonal skills

A collaborative, flexible and proactive approach to working within a qualified team

A commitment to academic excellence,innovationand continuous improvement
