People who collaborate, take ownership, and aren’t afraid to challenge how things are done. We’re seeking a Senior Buyer to join our Product & Sourcing team based in Alexandria.

As a Senior Buyer, you will play a pivotal role in bringing our product ranges to life. Working closely with the Head of Product and cross-functional teams, you'll lead the end-to-end buying and product development process, delivering commercially successful ranges that align with dusk's creative vision, customer trends, and business objectives.

What You'll Do Develop and execute category buying strategies that deliver sales, margin, and inventory targets Lead the end-to-end product development process, from concept and sourcing through to product launch Source, negotiate, and build strong relationships with local and international suppliers to deliver quality products at target margins Manage critical path timelines to ensure products are delivered on time and meet quality, compliance, and brand standards Analyse sales performance, customer insights,



and market trends to identify opportunities and optimise product ranges Work closely with Planning, Creative, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Compliance teams to deliver successful seasonal ranges Monitor competitor activity, emerging trends, and product innovation to keep dusk at the forefront of the market Support seasonal range reviews, forecasting, pricing, and promotional planning Mentor and support the Buying Coordinator, fostering collaboration and continuous development Represent dusk at local and international trade fairs, supplier visits, and sourcing trips as required About You Significant experience in a Senior Buying, Category Management, or Product Development role within retail, preferably homewares or lifestyle products Demonstrated success developing commercially successful product ranges and achieving sales and margin targets Strong product development, sourcing, and supplier negotiation experience Excellent commercial acumen with the ability to analyse data and make informed buying decisions Experience managing critical paths and delivering products to tight deadlines Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple business functions Strong leadership skills with experience coaching or mentoring junior team members Advanced Microsoft Office skills and experience using retail buying or merchandise systems A passion for product, design, customer trends, and delivering exceptional retail experiences What You'll Love Opportunity to shape exciting product ranges for one of Australia's leading specialty retailers Collaborative and creative team environment where your ideas are valued Competitive salary and advantages package Professional development opportunities and interstate/international sourcing exposure Supportive leadership and a commitment to work-life balance
