We are looking for a Senior Catastrophe Research Analyst to assist clients in understanding their natural hazard and catastrophe risk exposure. You will work throughout New Zealand, Australia, and the wider APAC region. This role involves combining scientific knowledge in natural hazard risk, geospatial and wider data analysis to create valuable insights to improve risk-based decisions.

We are open for location of this role, ideally Recent Zealand, Australia or Singapore.

What you'll be doing

You’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality data and analytics insights to help clients better understand the impact of natural hazards on their business. From analysing large and complex data to presenting insights and recommendations to clients across the region, you’ll play a critical role in translating technical,



scientific data and information into practical insights to support client decisions.

You will also:

- Work with large and complex spatial data focussed on natural hazard risk.
- Use geospatial analysis and interrogate data in SQL and familiar programming languages.
- Present insights and to a wide range of stakeholders across the region.
- Partner with global colleagues across Analytics, Risk Advisory and Broking teams to deliver outstanding client outcomes.

About You

We’re looking for someone who enjoys communicating scientific and data-driven insights to customers, someone who demonstrates strong analytical skills, and enjoys solving complex problems.

You'll ideally bring:

- A degree or equivalent experience in Natural Hazards, Physical Geography, Earth Science, GIS or a related field!
- Strong experience with geospatial analysis.
