Our young but rapidly-growing civil engineering consulting firm based in Sydney is looking for an up-and-coming Senior Civil Engineer to join our growing team and play an key role in the continued growth of our Sydney operations.

Due to a strong backlog of project work and an established client base, we are looking for the right person to join our team and grow with the business. This role suits a go-getter who doesn't necessarily have 10+ years of experience but has the right attitude, technical capability and personality to represent the company and take on increasing responsibility as the business continues to grow.

Due to the quantity of existing project work, work-winning is not required in the initial stages. However, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to become involved in client management, business development and work-winning as the role develops over the medium to long term.

What we are looking for

- Bachelor of Engineering (Civil)
- Minimum of 5 years of civil engineering experience, preferably on urban development projects in New South Wales.
- Experience on industrial and commercial projects is particularly advantageous.
- Experience dealing with project stakeholders such as Clients, Authorities and Contractors is required.
- Must have a background in civil design using 12d and AutoCAD, including site grading.
- Stormwater modelling experience with DRAINS & MUSIC (or equivalent software packages)



is highly regarded.
- Road/intersection design experience is also beneficial.
- Must possess strong communication and report writing skills, including the preparation of Engineering Servicing Reports, Stormwater Management Plans and other technical documentation.
- A proactive, practical approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a small team.
- The ability and willingness to take on increasing responsibility and help mentor more junior engineers as the team grows.
