About the role

Napier Periodontics and Implantology is seeking an exceptional Senior Dental Receptionist / Practice Coordinator to join our small, dedicated specialist practice in Cottesloe. This is a full-time, patient-facing position suited to an experienced dental receptionist who takes pride in creating a warm, calm and highly professional patient experience. Alongside managing reception, you will coordinate the day-to-day administrative needs of the practice and help ensure everything runs smoothly.

The position is available for an immediate start, allowing time for a thorough handover and training. The role is 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with some flexibility for an earlier finish on Fridays. The practice is open for varying hours through the week allowing for admin time. There is no weekend work.

Key responsibilities

- Providing a warm, skilled welcome to patients
- Managing telephone and email enquiries
- Coordinating appointments, referrals, recalls and correspondence
- Maintaining an organised and efficient appointment book
- Supporting patients with treatment coordination and financial discussions
- Processing accounts, payments and health-fund claims
- Liaising professionally with referring clinicians and other healthcare providers
- Coordinating day-to-day reception and administrative processes
- Maintaining practice systems, policies and documentation
- Assisting with staff rostering and daily team coordination
- Uploading invoices to accounting system
- Managing timesheets
- Documenting processes and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and continuity

About you

You will be warm, organised and dependable,



with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work confidently and independently. Ideally, you will have:
- Previous experience in dental reception
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A calm, polished and compassionate approach to patient care
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- The ability to prioritise and manage multiple responsibilities
- Initiative and sound judgement
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
- A collaborative approach within a small team
- Practice coordination or senior reception experience, although this is not essential for the right person

We are a team of five committed to providing excellent clinical care within a warm, respectful and professional environment. We rarely work late and do not see patients on Fridays.

- A salary of $40-$52 per hour, commensurate with experience and capability
