About the Role

We are currently seeking candidates with experience and expertise in Automotive Light and/or Automotive Electrical technology to plan, develop and deliver training and assessment to students in this study area.

As a lecturer, you’ll play a key role in teaching, supporting and assessing students in line with the relevant training package requirements. You’ll also take part in professional and delivery‑related activities, keeping your industry knowledge current so you can provide up‑to‑date guidance to both the College and industry partners.

Required Qualifications & Experience
To be eligible for employment applicants must hold a Trade Certificate - Cert III in Automotive Light Vehicle Technology or Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology or equivalent and have a minimum of 5 years working in the area of expertise.

To deliver accredited VET training, the minimum qualification required is the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122,



TAE40116 or TAE40110), or a secondary teaching qualification with an Assessor Skill Set (TAESS00011, TAESS00019 or TAESS00024).

If you don’t yet hold the required VET credential, you’re still welcome to apply. South Regional TAFE will support the successful candidate to enrol in an approved qualification, begin training promptly and make steady progress toward completion within two years of starting.
