The Role

You will report to our Finance Director, with her day to day support. The seat is open because the Analyst in it has been promoted into our global parent, and he will hand over to you before she goes. Start in September and you get the full benefit of that crossover.

Three worlds meet in this chair.

Data. You own performance analysis across the group. Retention, volumes, recent business, pricing movement: the metrics that show which parts of this portfolio are working and which need attention. The numbers already exist. Your job is to make them mean something, then put them in front of people who will act on them.

Cash. Forecasting, analysis, working capital. In a group that funds its own growth and keeps acquiring, cash is not a monthly formality. It is the constraint that shapes what we can do next.

Deals. When we buy a business,



you help check the financials through and bring it onto our systems cleanly, with entity and acquisition hierarchies coded properly so the group still consolidates on the other side.

Duties will include, but not be limited to:

- Performance analysis across the group using KPI metrics: retention, volumes, new business and pricing movement
- Building and running Power BI dashboards, and getting into the systems themselves so the numbers turn into insight
- Cash forecasting and cash analysis across a debt funded, acquisitive group
- Working capital analysis, and the story behind its movements
- M&A; integration: checking through the financials of newly acquired businesses and bringing them onto our systems
- Maintaining entity and acquisition hierarchies so the group consolidates and reports cleanly as it grows
- Supporting the group financial reporting cycle alongside the wider finance team
- Business partnering with leaders who want the "so what", not just the numbers
- Improving the models, structures and process as the role takes shape

About You You are the analyst who cannot leave a number alone. You peel back layer after layer until it makes sense, then ask the better question: what does this mean for the business, and what should change because of it.

You might be a commercial analyst in industry today,



or a first mover out of corporate finance, transaction services or a deals team who has worked out that modelling businesses from the outside is less interesting than helping run one from the inside. Either way you are comfortable deep in data and systems, you genuinely understand how cash moves through a business, and you would rather help shape a role than inherit a laminated position description.

Skills & Experience To be effective in this role, you will likely bring:

- Strong analytical capability with genuine commercial instinct: you interpret data, you do not just produce it
- Advanced Excel and confident financial modelling
- Power BI experience, with Anaplan exposure very well regarded
- A working understanding of cash flow, funds flows and working capital
- Exposure to transactions, due diligence or post acquisition integration, valued though not essential
- CA or CPA progression well regarded, though curiosity matters more here than background
