About the role
As Senior Carer Lead, you’ll champion the voices of families, carers and supporters, ensuring lived experience is embedded at the heart of mental health service design and delivery. You’ll lead meaningful engagement, build strong carer partnerships and drive practices that create more inclusive, recovery-focused services for our communities.
This position requires traveling across the Brimbank, Maribyrnong and Wyndham sites.

Your duties include
Lead the development and implementation of the Families, Carers and Supporters Framework, providing expertise and guidance to the team and senior leaders
Lead a process to ensure carers’ perspectives are embedded withing the service and facilitating their contribution in the organisational planning process
Build strong partnerships with organisations and community groups, representing the Local and the Mental Health pathways program
Contribute and influence governance forums and ensure carers’ feedback and experience are captured

Our ideal candidate
Personal lived/living experience of caring for someone living with mental health challenges and/or situational distress
Minimum 3 years’ experience in health service management Relevant tertiary qualification in a related discipline, and/or equivalent combination of qualifications, skilled experience and lived experience
Ability to travel across sites (Brimbank, Maribyrnong, Wyndham) Application Process
