Your Role:

We are seeking a Senior Process Engineer to join our dynamic team and drive our process engineering efforts. This senior role demands extensive experience in designing, developing, and optimizing processes for our diverse projects. As a Senior Process Engineer at Umech, you will be responsible for driving turn-key projects from concept to completion, ensuring seamless integration of process systems and cutting-edge technology.

What You’ll Do:

- Mentor a team of process engineers, providing technical guidance and support.
- Oversee the design, development, and optimization of process systems for turn-key projects, managing the process from concept to reality. Common process systems that Umech design include hazardous gas delivery, process cooling water, ultra pure water, process exhaust and process waste treatment systems.
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to ensure processes meet functional, technical, and customer requirements.
- Conduct process simulations,



perform feasibility studies, and develop detailed P&IDs.;
- Oversee the construction, commissioning, and validation of process systems.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

- Extensive experience in process engineering within the Hazardous Gas, High Tech R&D;, Pharmaceutical, or related industries.
- Strong knowledge of process design, simulation, and optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with functional safety standards (AS61508 / SIL), hazardous area classification and design, and GMP.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent project management and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
