About the Role
You will manage your own portfolio of clients, primarily within the agricultural and primary production sectors, while working closely with a supportive leadership team in a collaborative workplace.
This role will suit someone who enjoys building strong client relationships, providing practical advice and working with regional businesses that are the backbone of local communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of business services and tax clients
- Prepare financial statements, tax returns and compliance work for individuals, companies, trusts and partnerships and Div 7A, CGT and FBT calculations
- Provide tax planning and business advisory support to clients
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication
- Work closely with clients on cloud accounting solutions and business processes
About You
- CA/CPA Qualified with 5 – 7 years’ experience in Australian public practice accounting ( OK if still studying towards)
- 2 - 4 Years experience working with primary production / agricultural clients ESSENTIAL
- Solid Xero knowledge is essential
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills and familiar with agricultural / primary production client liaison
- Ability to work autonomously while managing client deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Xero, QuickBooks Online, Reckon, MYOB and Xero Practice Manager & FYI Docs (or willingness to learn)
- CPA or CA qualified & support if still studying towards
