About Our Client

BMA is Australia's largest producer of seaborne metallurgical coal, operating several world-class mines throughout the Bowen Basin. Goonyella Mine is a well-established operation recognised for its commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.

What You Will Be Doing

- Conducting coal sampling and testing within the washplant laboratory
- Preparing samples and performing quality control analysis
- Recording and reporting laboratory results accurately
- Maintaining laboratory equipment and housekeeping standards
- Following site safety procedures and laboratory protocols
- Supporting CHPP operations through timely testing and reporting

What You Will Need

- Previous experience in a laboratory environment, preferably within mining or coal processing
- Understanding of coal sampling and testing procedures
- Strong attention to detail and data recording skills




- Ability to work across rotating day and night shifts
- Current Standard 11 (preferred)
- Current Coal Board Medical (preferred)
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
- Current driver's licence and full Australian working rights
