We’re seeking an enthusiastic and detail‑oriented Parts Interpreter to join our Murwillumbah Branch on a full‑time basis.

In this customer‑facing role, you’ll be a trusted point of contact for customers, helping them identify the right parts solutions while delivering outstanding service. You’ll combine technical knowledge, analytical thinking, and strong communication skills to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and a positive customer experience every time.

Working closely with the branch team, you’ll play an integral role in supporting daily store operations and contributing to team success.

Job Description

Interpret and analyze customer inquiries regarding heavy vehicle parts specifications, compatibility, and technical requirements specific to trucks and commercial vehiclesTranslate complex technical problems and truck specifications into clear, understandable solutions for fleet operators and customersProcess inbound phone and online parts inquiries with accuracy and efficiency, prioritizing urgent fleet maintenance needsIdentify correct parts using technical documentation, truck parts catalogs, and inventory management systemsProvide expert guidance on part selection for commercial vehicles, ensuring customers receive the right components for their fleet requirementsMaintain detailed and organized records of customer interactions, parts requests,



and fleet maintenance historiesCollaborate with warehouse and sales teams to ensure timely order fulfillment, stock accuracy, and expedited delivery for critical truck repairsSupport customer service operations and showroom activities as neededAssist with inventory management, stock receipt, and order processing for truck parts and componentsDevelop and maintain robust customer relationships with fleet managers and operators through transparent communication and responsive serviceCoordinate with technical teams to resolve complex truck-related parts inquiries and compatibility issues

Qualifications

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbalProven customer service expertise with a genuine passion for delivering outstanding supportStrong ability to translate technical information and complex problems into clear, easy solutionsExcellent phone manner and professional presentationProficiency with computer systems and parts catalog/inventory management softwareStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detailAbility to influence and negotiate effectively with customers and team membersSolid time management and organizational skillsExperience or demonstrated passion for automotive parts (preferred)Background or familiarity with European vehicles (advantageous)Ability to work collaboratively within a team environmentFlexible and adaptable approach to a fast-paced, hands-on work setting
