Due to continued growth, we're looking for a motivated and technically strong Senior Accountant to join our Tax Advisory Group.

The role

If you're looking to take the next step in your tax career and gain exposure to more complex advisory work, this role offers the perfect blend of compliance, consulting and strategic tax projects.

Working closely with Partners, Directors and experienced tax professionals, you'll support clients ranging from large private groups and managed funds through to listed entities, while developing your expertise across a broad range of tax disciplines. Key responsibilities

Manage and review complex income tax compliance obligations for large private groups, listed entities and managed funds.

Review work prepared by junior team members, providing technical guidance, coaching and mentoring.

Prepare and review IAS, FBT returns and other regulatory lodgements.





Maintain high standards of quality control, file documentation and risk management.

Assist in delivering tax advice relating to:

Corporate restructures

International tax matters

Managed funds taxation

Tax governance and risk

Other complex tax issues

Support tax due diligence engagements for acquisitions and transactions, identifying tax risks and structuring opportunities.

Work on strategic tax projects, including exposure to Corporate Tax, International Tax and Tax Controversy matters.

Partner with clients to proactively manage their Australian tax obligations and commercial objectives.

Collaborate with colleagues to solve complex technical challenges and deliver exceptional client outcomes.

Drive the adoption of technology and automation to improve tax compliance and service delivery.

Build trusted client relationships through proactive communication and practical solutions.

Support Partners and Directors with client meetings, proposals and advisory engagements.

Contribute to the growth and development of junior team members and the broader team. About you

We're looking for someone who combines strong technical capability with a genuine passion for client service and professional growth.

You'll ideally have

Near CA or fully CA qualified status.

Solid Australian tax experience gained within a Big 4, mid-tier or reputable professional services firm.





Sound knowledge of corporate income tax compliance and tax accounting.

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

A proactive, solutions-focused mindset.

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

The ability to mentor and develop junior team members.
