SHEET METAL FABRICATOR

Your current company An established Australian manufacturer is seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Worker to join its production team in Western Sydney.

Working within a modern workshop environment, you will be involved in the fabrication and assembly of custom-engineered products supplied to major industrial, infrastructure, transport and commercial projects throughout Australia.

Your new role

Fabrication of sheet metal products from detailed engineering drawings

Folding, cutting, punching and forming various gauges of steel, galvanised steel and aluminium

Assembly of acoustic enclosures, ventilation components and engineered metal products

Operating workshop equipment including press brakes, guillotines and power tools

MIG and TIG welding where required

Performing quality checks to ensure products meet specifications

Working collaboratively with fabrication and assembly teams to achieve production targets

What you'll need to succeed





Previous experience as a Sheet Metal Worker or Sheet Metal Fabricator

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

Experience operating fabrication machinery

MIG welding experience essential

TIG welding experience highly regarded

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

Reliable work ethic and positive attitude

Trade qualification highly regarded
