About the Role

Reporting to the Underground Production Superintendent, the Shift Supervisor is responsible for leading underground crews to achieve production targets while maintaining the highest standards of safety, compliance, and operational excellence.

You will provide frontline leadership, oversee daily mining activities, coordinate resources,



and ensure work is completed in accordance with site plans and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and supervise underground mining crews during shift operations.

- Promote and maintain a solid safety culture across all activities.

- Ensure production and development targets are achieved safely and efficiently.

- Coordinate personnel, equipment, and materials to optimise shift performance.

- Conduct pre-shift meetings, workplace inspections, and risk assessments.

- Monitor compliance with site procedures, mining regulations, and statutory requirements.

- Mentor and develop team members to support performance and capability growth.

- Investigate incidents, identify improvement opportunities, and implement corrective actions.

- Prepare and maintain accurate shift reports and operational records.
