About the Opportunity

Following a series of major tender wins across Brisbane’s Southside, our client who is a well known and established Tier 3 builder is expanding its delivery team. We are actively seeking an experienced, hands-on Site Manager to take full ownership of upcoming commercial, educational, and hospitality builds in the region. We are looking for a Site Manager who is capable of delivering projects in the $10M to $30M range.

Key Responsibilities

- Site Leadership: Lead and manage day-to-day site operations, ensuring work progresses according to the master program, quality standards, and budget.
- Subcontractor Management: Coordinate trades, site logistics, material deliveries, and site personnel to maintain momentum and secure working conditions.
- Safety & Quality Assurance: Enforce strict WH&S; protocols, conduct site inductions, and drive their zero-harm culture and quality control processes.
- Program Tracking: Monitor daily/weekly critical paths, resolve site issues proactively, and keep Project Managers updated on site progress.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the face of the builder on site, maintaining positive working relationships with clients, consultants, architects, and local authorities.

What We’re Looking For

- Proven Track Record: At least 5 years of experience as a Site Manager delivering commercial, institutional, refurb, or hospitality projects valued between $5M – $25M .




- Trade Background / Qualifications: Cert IV or Diploma in Building & Construction, or a Carpentry/Trade background with relevant QBCC licensing credentials.
- Local Market Experience: Strong familiarity with the SEQ subcontractor market and Queensland building codes.
- Proactive Problem Solver: Outstanding communication, scheduling, and subbie management skills with a high attention to detail.
- Safety First Mindset: Uncompromising commitment to workplace health, safety, and site cleanliness.
