Storeperson

Based in our modern workshop we require the services of skilled Storeperson to join its robust, growing and diverse team.

Job tasks and responsibilities

- Receive and inspect incoming goods

- Manage consumables stocks as required

- Inspect finished items according to job traveler and ensure a high-quality standard

- Assist in pick packing and dispatch, ensuring only the highest quality product and packaging leaves the workshop.

- Soft seal and mark items if required

- Print labels and attach to goods

- Pick up and deliver items

- Monitor lifting operations up to 5 tonne

- Inspect lifting equipment daily and complete reports within schedule

- Perform company vehicle and forklift inspections & pre-starts

- Ensure a safe and clean workshop

- Assist in other areas and personnel as directed by the Workshop Manager

Skills and experience

- 2+ years’ experience with in the mechanical manufacturing industry or in a similar industry.

- Experience using ERP – Systems

- Manual drivers license essential

- Forklift ticket essential

- Rigging ticket would be advantageous

- Able to operate electrical hand tools

- Organizational skills essential

- Being fast, efficient, reliable and productive

- Fast learning ability

- Excellent communication in English

- Valid working visa / Australia work rights essential
