Ikecho Australia is an established Australian jewellery brand specialising in pearls and opals. We work with wholesale stockists across Australia and New Zealand, as well as direct retail customers through our online store.

We are looking for a hands-on Social Media & Marketing Coordinator to join our Sydney office. This role would suit someone with previous marketing, social media or content creation experience who enjoys creating beautiful product-focused content and can confidently take ownership of day-to-day marketing tasks.

This is not an entry-level or internship role. We are looking for someone who has already worked in a hands-on marketing, social media or content position and can work independently in a small business workplace.

About the Role

This is a varied role across social media, content creation, email marketing, website updates, product imagery and campaign coordination.

You will work closely with our team, our paid advertising agency, web developer, graphic designers, printers and other external partners.

Your responsibilities will include

- Planning, creating and scheduling social media content across Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest

- Creating product-focused content, including reels, short-form video, still images, styled product shots and close-up jewellery imagery

- Developing social media ideas and content concepts that suit a premium jewellery brand

- Assisting with a monthly marketing calendar across campaigns, promotions, product launches and trade fairs

- Creating weekly retail and wholesale EDMs through Omnisend

- Providing creative content for Meta campaigns, with our paid advertising agency managing the campaign setup and optimisation

- Updating product content across Shopify and our B2B portal, including product uploads, descriptions, imagery and collection merchandising

- Liaising with our web developer on website updates, maintenance and content improvements

- Assisting with product and model photoshoots, including planning,



coordination and content preparation

- Liaising with influencers, media contacts and brand partners for collaborations and opportunities

- Assisting with trade advertising, catalogues, signage, opal certificates and other marketing material

- Maintaining marketing assets, templates, imagery, video and brand files

About you

We are looking for someone who is creative, organised and confident working across both social content and general marketing tasks.

To be considered, you will need:

- Minimum 2 years’ hands-on experience in a marketing, social media, content creation or ecommerce role

- Strong social media experience, including creating content, writing captions and planning posts

- Confidence creating reels or short-form video content
- A good eye for product imagery, styling, layout and brand presentation

- Experience working with product-based, retail, fashion, jewellery, beauty, lifestyle or ecommerce brands

- Strong written communication and attention to detail

- Confidence working independently and managing your own tasks
- A practical, hands-on attitude and willingness to help across different areas of marketing

- Full Australian working rights with no restrictions

- Availability to work from our Sydney CBD office

Experience with Shopify, Omnisend, Meta Business Suite, Canva, Plann, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign or similar platforms will be highly regarded.

Photography experience is also highly regarded, particularly product photography or content creation for social media.

Role details

- Part time, approx. 30 hours per week

- We are open to discussing how the hours are structured for the right person
