Job Description

Truck Art Smash Repairs, located across Australia in 5 states, Manufacturer of custom Stock Crates and Livestock Trailers is currently seeking to employ a qualified and experienced Diesel Mechanic to commence at their site in Altona North VIC. The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:

- Diagnosing and testing parts with the assistance of computers.
- Dismantling and removing engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms and other components
- Checking parts
- Testing and adjusting mechanical parts after being repaired for proper performance
- Testing and adjusting mechanical parts after being repaired for proper performance.




- Detect and diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in engines and parts.

Skills & Attributes

- Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical technology
- Minimum of 4 years trade experience
- The ability to work within scheduled servicing time frames
- The ability to work unsupervised
- The ability to complete all required servicing paperwork
- Maintain a clean and well organised work

Salary range is $70,000 - $85,000pa commensurate with experience Hours: fulltime Fulltime position available Application opens on 7th of August 2026 and closes on 7th of September 2026.
