Thanks to continued growth and long-term client relationships, we're looking for a hands-on Project Manager to join our Brisbane team.

About us:

Air Rite focuses heavily on design & construct (D&C;) work, and we put real weight into engineering our projects properly in the pre-construction phase. By the time we land on site, clashes and problems have already been worked through — so our teams can go straight to work, rather than fighting fires that should've been sorted weeks earlier. That means less contention on site with builders and site teams, and more time spent actually building.

We're big on relationships with our builders. If that matters to you too, you'll fit in well here — we're there to do our job and deliver a quality project, not to be a point of contention for the builder. We currently run 16 live projects across South East Queensland, from multi-residential towers to specialist commercial and critical infrastructure work, backed by an internal engineering partner, dedicated project management and site supervision teams, and a structured pre-construction methodology.

This role suits someone who takes ownership and drives a project forward without needing to be chased — proactive, solutions-focused,



and just as comfortable problem-solving in the office as they are supporting the crew on site. You'll be the calm, capable point of contact for builders and site teams alike, protecting the relationship as much as the programs.

The role:

You'll take full ownership of 5 - 7 HVAC and mechanical services projects at a time, from award through to practical completion — managing programs, budgets and client relationships, while getting out on site to run installation crews and subcontractors day to day. Must have experience across multi-residential medium to high-rise projects. Reporting to our General Manager, you'll balance commercial and technical outcomes while keeping sites running safely and to schedule.

What you'll bring:

- Trade background in HVAC/mechanical services (essential)
- Experience on multi-residential medium to high-rise projects (essential)
- Diploma of Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Engineering (preferred)
- Experience in running Multiple high rise project at same time (essential)
- Experience in project management within commercial construction or mechanical services
- Comfortable moving between office-based planning and hands-on site supervision
- Strong communication skills with clients, builders, subcontractors and consultants
- Solid grasp of programs, budgets, variations and site safety
- White Card and current driver's licence
