Maintenance Supervisor

We're looking for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance and grounds operations at our Salem Aged Care facility.

/n

This is a great prospect for someone with a trade or construction background who enjoys combining hands‐on maintenance with team leadership, planning and contractor coordination. You'll play a key role in ensuring our facilities remain safe, well maintained and welcoming for residents, staff and visitors.

Location: Toowoomba, QLD

/n

Role Type: Full Time | Monday to Friday | On‐call recall where applicable

/n

Remuneration: $33.11 per hour + super + salary packaging + access to staff discounts & benefits.

/n

What You'll Be Doing

/n

As the Maintenance Supervisor, you'll oversee day‐to‐day maintenance operations while supporting the Service Manager to ensure buildings, grounds and equipment are maintained to a high standard. Your responsibilities include:

- Leading and supporting the Grounds & Maintenance team

/n

- Planning, coordinating and monitoring maintenance schedules and works

/n

- Undertaking maintenance and repair work in line with your skills and qualifications

/n

- Coordinating contractors, tradespeople and external suppliers

/n

- Providing advice on building maintenance, improvements and minor projects

/n

- Managing maintenance systems, work requests and documentation

/n

- Monitoring equipment, chemicals and maintenance supplies

/n

- Ensuring compliance with Workplace Health & Safety requirements

/n





- Supporting fire safety compliance, servicing and documentation

/n

- Participating in an on‐call recall roster where required

/n/n

What We're Looking For

/n

/n

- Experience in construction, building maintenance, a trade or facilities maintenance environment

/n

- Experience supervising or leading a small maintenance team

/n

- Strong knowledge of building maintenance, grounds or facilities management

/n

- Excellent communication and organisational skills

/n

- A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement

/n

- A commitment to safe work practices and quality outcomes

/n

- A current Driver's Licence and a National Police Check

/n/n
