About The Role

/n

As a Commis Chef, you'll support the kitchen team in preparing and cooking high-quality dishes across a variety of stations. From chopping and portioning to plating and presentation, you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

You'll work closely with senior chefs, follow recipes and standards, and maintain a clean, safe, and organised kitchen.

Key Responsibilities

/n

/n

- Prepare ingredients including chopping, portioning, and storing food

/n

- Cook and present dishes according to recipes and quality standards

/n

- Operate kitchen equipment including ovens, grills, fryers, and microwaves

/n

- Monitor food quality and test dishes for doneness

/n

- Set up and break down workstations efficiently

/n

- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas, tools, and equipment

/n

- Follow food safety procedures and temperature checks

/n

- Assist in preparing cold foods and mise-en-place for service

/n

- Support the team during busy service periods

/n





- Report maintenance issues, accidents, or unsafe conditions to management

/n

- Uphold company policies, safety standards, and grooming expectations

/n/n

About You

/n

/n

- At least 1 year of experience in a commercial kitchen (preferred)

/n

- Passionate about cooking and eager to learn new techniques

/n

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety

/n

- Able to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

/n

- Physically fit and able to stand, lift, and move throughout shifts

/n

- Transparent communicator with a positive attitude

/n

- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays

/n
