Minto Mitre 10 is seeking a full-time Retail Sales Assistant to join our friendly team at our store in Minto, NSW. As a Retail Sales Assistant, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and supporting the day-to-day operations of our hardware store.

/n

What you'll be doing

/n

Assisting customers with product selection, providing knowledgeable advice, and ensuring a positive shopping experience

/n

Stocking shelves, maintaining store presentation, and ensuring products are available and easily accessible

/n

Processing sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including handling cash, cards, and returns

/n

Actively contributing to the team's efforts to achieve sales targets and KPIs

/n

Participating in inventory management and stock control tasks as required

/n

Demonstrating a commitment to safety and following all company policies and procedures

/n

What we're looking for

/n

Previous experience in a retail or customer service role, preferably in the hardware or home improvement industry

/n

Solid phone, face to face communication and interpersonal skills,



with the ability to engage with customers and provide exceptional service

/n

A keen eye for detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently

/n

A collaborative team player with a positive attitude and the willingness to learn and adapt

/n

An understanding of product knowledge or the ability to quickly learn about our product range

/n

A commitment to safety and following all company policies and procedures

/n

Able to lift 20kg

/n
