Casual Bush Regenerator (2 current positions)

Lane Cove Council is seeking an enthusiastic Casual Bush Regenerator to help care for our unique bushland and waterways.

/n

In this hands-on role, you'll work alongside our dedicated team to:

/n

/n

- Carry out bush regeneration activities across Lane Cove's beautiful reserves.

/n

- Supervise and support volunteers in programs such as Bushcare, Harbour Care, On the Verge, and the Community Nursery.

/n

- Contribute to biodiversity conservation and habitat restoration projects.

/n/n

About you

/n

The successful candidate will have:

/n

/n

- Certificate III in Conservation & Ecosystem Management or related field OR an equivalent qualification and experience

/n

- Current Class C Drivers Licence

/n

- Chemical Accreditation Certification AQF3

/n

- A current 'Paid Worker - Working with Children Check' clearance, obtained from the NSW Commission for Children and Young People; OR a willingness to obtain

/n

- Current First Aid Certificate OR willingness to obtain

/n

- Experience in Bush Regeneration and Natural Area Restoration & Management;
