We are preparing for the very exciting season at the Lancemore Mansion Hotel Werribee Park and are looking for guest-focused individuals with various levels of food and beverage experience.

About The Role

/n

As a Kitchen Steward, you play a key role in keeping kitchen operations efficient and up to standard. You will help maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment while supporting the culinary team in delivering high-quality service.

/n

Working closely with the Chef de Partie, Sous Chef, and Executive Chef, you'll assist with daily kitchen tasks and contribute to a team-oriented team environment focused on achieving shared goals.

/n

This is a hands‐on, fast‐paced position offering great exposure and opportunities to grow your career in hospitality, both within Australia and internationally.

Key Responsibilities

/n

/n

- Operate commercial dishwashers and other kitchen cleaning equipment

/n

- Ensure all kitchen areas, surfaces, and equipment are kept clean and orderly

/n





- Remove waste regularly and store equipment appropriately

/n

- Follow company policies, procedures, and workplace safety standards at all times

/n

- Support chefs with general kitchen duties as required

/n/n

Requirements

/n

/n

- Availability to work a rotating 7-day roster, including mornings, evenings, and public holidays

/n

- Previous experience in a busy commercial kitchen environment

/n

- Strong awareness of workplace health and safety practices

/n

- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling procedures

/n

- Reliable transport
