About the Role

We are looking for a enthusiastic Optical Dispenser or Optical Assistant to join our team. We are a well-established independent optometry practice where outstanding service and solid community relationships come first.

/n

This role offers approximately 10–15 hours per week, making it a fantastic fit for someone looking for great work-life balance and long-term stability.

/n

Key Responsibilities

/n

Frame & Lens Selection: Assisting customers with frame styling and optimal lens choices.

/n

Order Management: Dispensing and accurately ordering spectacle and contact lens jobs.

/n

Practice Support: Handling general administrative duties, answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and managing incoming queries.

/n

What We're Looking For

Experience: Prior optical dispensing or optical industry experience is highly preferred.

/n

Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills and a warm, customer-focused approach.

/n

Solid computer skills: for managing patient records and orders.

/n

Initiative: Able to work efficiently and problem-solve independently.

/n

Flexibility: Willingness to work Saturdays as needed (preferred).
