Position

Diesel Fitter – Site Support Team (NT) – Permanent 14:14 alternating FIFO roster. Based out of Brisbane, Darwin or Alice Springs.

/n

Responsibilities

/n

/n

- Maintain and repair equipment – carry out warranty repairs and scheduled maintenance on CAT and Elphinstone underground mining machinery.

/n

- Diagnose and troubleshoot faults – conduct diagnostic assessments and identify solutions to maximise machine availability and reliability.

/n

- Complete quality reporting – prepare accurate condition, failure and warranty reports in line with business and manufacturer requirements.

/n

- Manage warranty processes – ensure warranty claims and supporting documentation are completed accurately and within required timeframes.

/n

- Support customer performance – work closely with customers to maximise equipment production and operational efficiency.

/n

- Provide technical expertise – deliver customer support while sharing product knowledge and maintenance recommendations.

/n/n

Qualifications

/n

/n

- Trade qualified – relevant Diesel Fitter or Heavy Vehicle Mechanic trade qualification.

/n

- CAT experience preferred – previous experience working on Caterpillar equipment and CAT diagnostic systems.

/n

- Strong communicator – well‐developed communication and customer‐service skills with a customer‐focused approach.

/n

- Self‐motivated and reliable – able to work effectively both within a team environment and autonomously.

/n

- Safety focused – committed to maintaining a strong safety culture and contributing to a Zero Harm workplace.

/n

- Positive attitude – proactive work ethic, continuous improvement mindset and punctual approach.
