Casual Support Workers – Disability Services

Delta Community Support is a registered NDIS provider delivering high-quality, person-centred services across Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes and community programs. We are currently looking for Casual Support Workers to join our team across Brisbane North /South locations, and Community Access programs.

/n

We currently have the following vacancies:

/n

Supported Independent Living (SIL) – All SIL staff must be available for 2 sleepover shifts each week & Community Access supports

/n

/n

- Brisbane North – Service areas: Chermside → Mango Hill

/n/n

In these roles, you will work directly with people with disability to provide safe, respectful, and empowering support. Shifts may include mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and sleepovers, depending on the role.

/n

Your duties will include:

/n

/n

- Assisting with daily living tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, and household activities.

/n

- Transporting clients to medical appointments, community activities, and social events.

/n

- Supporting clients to access the community and achieve their goals.

/n

- Implementing Positive Behaviour Support Plans (PBSP) and following behaviour strategies.

/n

- Completing accurate progress notes, incident reports, and documentation.

/n

- Promoting independence, dignity, and choice for clients.

/n/n

We're looking for people who have:

/n

/n

- Experience in disability, community,



or aged care (NDIS experience preferred).

/n

- Current First Aid & CPR certificate.

/n

- NDIS Worker Screening Check & Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain).

/n

- Unrestricted driver's licence and reliable vehicle.

/n

- Availability for diverse shifts, including weekends, overnights, and required sleepovers (SIL only).

Essential Requirements

/n

- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)

/n

- Blue Card (or willingness to obtain)

/n

- First Aid & CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain)

/n

- QLD Driver's Licence (P2 Green or higher)

/n

- Reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance

/n

- Right to work in Australia

/n/n
