Dental Receptionist — Dentistry on George

We're a boutique dental practice in the heart of the Brisbane CBD. We're not a high-volume, process-people-through kind of place — we look after a loyal list of patients who value quality, and we do things properly. Ethical care, patients' needs first, and a genuinely good team to work alongside.

We're looking for someone to join us on the front desk 2 days per week.

/n

This role would suit you if:

- You genuinely enjoy people. You're comfortable on the phone and you like looking after patients — that's most of the job.

/n

- You like things done properly — and it bothers you when they're not.

/n

- You're organised. You plan your day, you keep track, and things don't slip through the cracks.

/n

- You follow through. If a task is yours, it gets done — and closed off, not left half-finished.

/n

- You use your initiative. You'd rather work out a solution than wait to be told.

/n

- You look out for your team — you notice when someone's under the pump and you help.

What you'll be doing:

- Front desk — you're the first and last impression for every patient. Phones, scheduling, recalls and follow-up calls, keeping the day running to time. But more than that — actually interacting with patients, showing interest in how they're doing, following up when you said you would, and looking for ways to make their visit better.

/n

- Administration support for our clinicians — sending patient reports, following up with referral partners and labs, and other admin that keeps treatment moving smoothly.

/n

- Following our checklists and systems so nothing gets missed.

/n

- Clinical support when required — supporting the dentists, room turnaround, infection control and sterilisation to help out our dental assistants.
