Our client is a highly regarded Queensland electrical contractor delivering large-scale industrial and commercial projects across the state. With a strong reputation for quality delivery and long-standing client relationships, they have built a secure pipeline of projects and due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator with a strong background in industrial and commercial projects.

You’ll be working on technically detailed projects requiring careful interpretation of drawings, specifications, and complex scopes. You’ll collaborate closely with project managers, suppliers, and clients to deliver accurate, competitive tenders backed by structured systems and modern estimating tools.

Salary & Benefits

- Up to $160,000 (experience dependent)

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed electrical estimates for industrial & commercial tenders
- Interpret complex drawings, specifications, and project documentation
- Complete accurate take-offs using SimPro, GroundPlan & digital tools
- Engage suppliers and subcontractors for competitive pricing
- Attend site visits and tender meetings to support pricing accuracy

What You’ll Bring

- Electrical Qualification
- Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator (industrial/commercial essential)
- Strong understanding of large-scale project environments
- Proficiency with SimPro, Excel & digital take-off software
- Ability to manage multiple tenders with competing deadlines
- Clear communication skills for client, supplier & internal liaison
