PDHPE Teacher - Armidale, NSW 2350
Teach and inspire secondary students in a school where academic achievement, wellbeing and faith learning are considered equally important. This Term 4 opportunity offers the chance to make an immediate impact while helping students build the knowledge, skills and confidence to lead healthy, active lives.
What you'll do
- Plan, deliver and evaluate PDHPE programs for secondary students
- Use evidence-based teaching strategies to maximise student learning
- Assess progress, provide feedback and maintain accurate records
- Integrate technology to enhance teaching and learning outcomes
- Build productive relationships with students, families and colleagues
- Contribute to curriculum review and faculty initiatives
- Participate in sporting, co-curricular and school-based programs
- Engage in professional learning aligned to NESA and AITSL standards
What you'll bring
- Teaching qualifications and current NESA accreditation
- Demonstrated PDHPE teaching experience across Years 7-12
- Effective use of technology in the classroom
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills
- Ability to work with colleagues on planning and delivery
- Excellent communication and relationship-building capability
