Your new company
Our client is among the worlds top producers of major commodities including iron ore, metallurgical coal, copper and uranium. They extract and process minerals, oil and gas from its production operations located primarily in Australia and the Americas.
Your new role

Develop and review capital and operating cost estimates across a portfolio of mining projects. Conduct owner-side reviews of consultant estimates, ensuring accuracy, completeness and alignment with project requirements. Consolidate internal and external scope packages into integrated project estimates and supporting documentation. Review estimate assumptions, methodologies and value opportunities to support cost optimisation and project outcomes. Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple disciplines to deliver high-quality estimating outcomes and support key investment decisions.

What you'll need to succeed
Previous estimating experience within mining, construction, EPCM, infrastructure or major capital projects.Strong understanding of estimating principles, cost control, project life cycles and budgeting processes.Experience reviewing consultant or contractor estimates,



with the ability to challenge assumptions and identify risks and opportunities.Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple disciplines and deliver high-quality estimating outcomes.
